Ngati Whakaue - Te Arawa Writers' Grant

PURPOSE:
To support, develop and nurture Ngati Whakaue and Te Arawa Writers

DESCRIPTION:
This Policy provides the terms and conditions upon which the Ngati Whakaue Education Endowment Trust Board grants funding for Ngati Whakaue writers who are planning to engage in, or who are already engaged in, writing a significant piece of publishable work.  The Board may also grant funding for writers within the wider Te Arawa.



Grants are currently on hold and will not open for 2025.

This will be reconsidered by the Board in October 2025 if applications will open for 2026.

ONLINE APPLICATION FORM INSTRUCTIONS

Instructions

  1. Prepare your documents for uploading as part of your application and save somewhere handy.
  2. All applicants are required to upload completed & verified whakapapa sheet (on the NWEETB form) - click here to print blank form
  3. Click the Individual Application Form or Entity/Co-Author Application Form below to start. (Links to come soon).
  4. Fill in your details and answers to questions on the form.
  5. Most fields on the form are required. A red asterisk (*) indicates a required field.
  6. Read the Declaration and Acknowledge Terms and Conditions of the application.
  7. Upload required documents
  8. Click Submit – you will be emailed a copy of your application for your records.
  9. If you need to Save & Resume your application in progress:
    1. Click the ‘Save my progress and resume later’ checkbox at the top of the form (the form does not save automatically).
    2. When you save your application, you will be asked to enter your email and choose a password – this is used when you return to your form.
    3. You will be sent an email link to the email address provided so you can resume your application – you will need to enter your email address and password to resume.
